THE JOURNAL
A scholarly, peer-reviewed medical quarterly journal, The Chinese
Journal of Burns, Wounds and Surface Ulcers started ITSinitial publication
in December of 1989 with China periodicals registration number CN11-2650/R
and international periodicals registration number ISSN1001-0726. The
journal was approved by the State Commission of Science and Technology,
sponsored by the CBAIM and published by the Editorial Committee of
The Chinese Journal of Burns, Wounds and Surface Ulcers. It is featured
with novel content, standardized format, wide coverage, and strong
practicability. Equal attention is paid to both basic research and
clinical practice, as well as popularization and improvement.
The journal is one of the key medical periodicals with widespread
influence in China and abroad. It has been included in the database
of The Statistics and Analysis of Scientific and Technological Papers
in China, Cbmdisc as well as China Academic Periodicals (CD-ROM
version) and listed in Ulrich's International Periodicals Directory.
Since 1998, this journal has been compiled into ChinaInfo system
with full text on-line (http://www.periodicals.com.cn).
MISSION STATEMENT
# TO COVER state-of-the-art medical theories and emerging technologies
in the field of burns, wounds and ulcers, including advanced experiences
and latest achievements on clinical practice, research and education.
# TO EXPLORE new approaches to the methodology on the management
of burns wounds and ulcers on the basis of integrated traditional
Chinese and western medicine. TO INTRODUCE domestic and internationally
advanced developments in burns wounds and ulcer management.
# TO PROVIDE a forum for information exchange and discussion that
promotes the academic levels and benefiting overall human health.
REGULAR FEATURES
Special reports, celebrity interviews, expert forums, basic and
clinical research, experience exchange, case reports, nursing, review,
medical science and philosophy, conference minutes and domestic
and international academic trends.

SUBSCRIPTION
The Chinese Journal of Burns, Wounds and Surface Ulcers is in a
size of sextodecimo and sold at RMB8 per single copy and RMB32 for
yearly subscription. For domestic subscriptions, it can be ordered
from local post offices in China with code No.82-600. For international
subscriptions, the journal can only be ordered from China International
Book Trading Corporation (P.O.Box 399, Beijing, China) by referring
to code No. 1390Q. The current circulation is 10000 copies.
