Windowing for ventilation 2 times a day is required with 20 minutes for each. Keep the patient warm during ventilation, in case of catching cold. Clean the floor with 1% PAA 2 times a day for degermation; air sterilization is performed with UV-lamp or room air sterilization instrument 3 times a day with 30 mins for each. The patient should be screened during the UV-lamp radiation with a pager in hand for timely alarm provided any accident occurs. In addition, the patient should be kept well ventilated, avoiding the breath difficulty due to inlet blockage by the screener. Door knob, headstock, bedside commode should be sterilized with 0.25롰84 disinfectant 2 times a day. Pedal pad immersed with 0.25롰84 disinfectant should be set at the entrance of the ward. Put on the isolation gown when entering the burns ward with face mask and hat. All in all, the ward should be kept sanitary, with fresh air, optimal ambient temperature and humidity, which is the crucial guarantee for the maximum efficacy exerted by MEBO.
